Writing Guidelines

CHECKLIST

Please read carefully before making any submission.

  • All manuscripts must be submitted through the “Submit Manuscript” system after registering in the system.

  • Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere (or disclosed in the “Comments to the Editor” section).

  • Submission file must be in Microsoft Word format.

  • Maximum similarity index for plagiarism is 20%, and single-source match must be <5%.

  • All communications after submission will be conducted via e-mail: editor@nortisjournal.com.

  • Studies submitted for publication in Nortis Journal of Sports Sciences (NJSS) must be uploaded to the system after registration. Submissions sent via other methods will not be considered.

NOTE: The following documents must be uploaded completely during manuscript submission:

  • Manuscript Text

  • Title Page

  • Ethics Committee Approval

  • Similarity Report (Plagiarism)

  • Copyright Form

MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE

Manuscripts submitted in English must be written clearly, concisely, and in proper English grammar. Manuscripts should be presented in the following order:

Abstract: Please provide a concise abstract of approximately 250 words. The abstract should not contain undefined abbreviations or unreferenced sources. It should summarize the reported study and not include background information or hypothetical statements.

Keywords: Please provide 3–5 keywords separated by commas.

Introduction: This section should summarize the background briefly and justify the rationale of your study. Do not include findings or conclusions. It should not be a comprehensive literature review but should end with a clear statement of the research problem. Provide context based on previous studies and cite sources appropriately. Do not use page numbers via MS Word page insertion.

Materials and Methods: Provide sufficient methodological details so that a qualified person can replicate the study.

Results and Discussion: Present the results and their significance, and discuss them in the context of other studies. The last paragraph should summarize the main findings. Comparisons between your results and previous studies should be included in the discussion.

Limitations and Recommendations: Highlight the limitations of the study and provide suggestions for future research and potential implications.

References: All references must follow APA 7 guidelines.
