Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

The Nortis Journal of Sports Sciences (NJSS) strictly adheres to both TÜBİTAK and COPE guidelines. All authors, editors, editorial board members, and reviewers are required to comply with these rules.

Scope of Ethical Compliance

Ethical approval and adherence to publication ethics are mandatory for all studies involving:

  • Qualitative or quantitative research requiring data collection from participants through surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, experiments, or similar techniques.

  • The use of humans or animals (including materials or data) for experimental or other scientific purposes.

  • Clinical studies involving humans.

  • Animal research.

  • Retrospective studies in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

Additionally:

  • For the use of third-party scales, surveys, photographs, or other materials, permission must be obtained from the owners and clearly stated in the manuscript.

  • Compliance with copyright regulations for all intellectual and artistic works must be ensured.

All submitted articles must include a statement confirming compliance with Research and Publication Ethics.
