About the Journal

Nortis Journal of Sports Sciences (NJSS) is an international peer-reviewed journal that aims to contribute to the scientific knowledge base by publishing original and high-quality articles covering various fields of sports sciences.

Original Content, Open Access

NJSS hosts research and review articles on a wide range of topics, including physical education and sports, sports management, recreation, exercise and training sciences, sports psychology, nutrition and performance, psychosocial aspects in sports, and sports technologies. All publications will be available online and completely free of charge, and will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.

Bilingual Publication Policy

Articles in our journal can be published in either Turkish or English. This approach aims to allow NJSS to reach a broad national and international readership and to facilitate the cross-border sharing of knowledge in sports sciences.

Publication Frequency

The Nortis Journal of Sports Sciences will be published four times a year—in January, April, July, and October. In this way, the latest knowledge, research, and findings in sports sciences will be regularly presented to the scientific community.
